LKN SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY
In today’s world, effective speech and language skills prove essential. They influence confidence, self-esteem, first impressions, success in school, meaningful relationships and success at work: communication.
Speech disorders are different from language disorders; however, they can coexist. Language disorders refer to a person having difficulty getting their meaning or message across to others (expressive language) or understanding the message from others (receptive language). Speech disorders are the pronunciation (articulation), fluency, and rate of speech sounds that affect the intelligibility of what a person is saying.
